Tim has been studying and teaching the Bible while serving in various church ministry positions for over 40 years - serving at STBC as a Pastor and Elder since the church’s founding in 2008. Preaching, teaching, and membership are currently his primary areas of involvement and oversight.
He received a B.A. from the University of Arizona (History; minor Greek) in 1981 and completed a three- year, local church- based theology and pastoral training program in 2003.
Tim and Kim were married in 1979, love to travel, and are blessed to enjoy together their four grown children: Kaylee, Karis, Kasey, and Garrett and many grandchildren.
Tim is also co-owner of Joe’s Real BBQ and Joe’s Farm Grill in Gilbert, where every day is full of ministry opportunities (as well as plenty of delicious food!).
