Tim has been studying and teaching the Bible while serving in various church ministry positions for over 40 years - serving at STBC as an elder since the church’s founding in 2008. Men’s Ministry, Adult Bible Hour, Fellowship Groups, and New Membership are his primary areas of involvement and oversight.
He received a B.A. from the University of Arizona (History; minor Greek) in 1981 and completed a three- year, local church- based theology and pastoral training program in 2003.
Tim and Kim were married in 1979, love to travel, and are blessed to enjoy together their four grown children: Kaylee, Karis, Kasey, and Garrett and many grandchildren.
Tim is also co-owner of Joe’s Real BBQ and Joe’s Farm Grill in Gilbert, where every day is full of ministry opportunities (as well as plenty of delicious food!).
