Mission Statement

2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.” Under the rubric of the command of Jesus Christ given in Matthew 28:18-20, 2 Timothy 2:2 states the goal of taking the rich deposit Word of God and entrusting ( the Greek verb “entrust” in the middle voice is a commercial technical term for giving something to someone in trust for safekeeping as commit, deposit, give over, entrust [BDAG, 772; MGLNT, 343; TDNOT, 8:163]) it to faithful men. This entrusting is done through teaching, the accurate handling of the Word of God (2 Tim 2:15), and the concurrent life walk of the faithful men. Hence, the objectives of 2T2:2 MISSIONS are to train men to be expository preachers in their local churches, that is to accurately interpret the Word of God and explain it in an expository manner, and to disciple these men to live out the truth of Scripture in their lives.
Specifically, 2T2:2 MISSIONS is involved in strengthening the local churches in an access restricted country by developing the church leadership through training in expository preaching and biblical discipleship (in their indigenous language). The ultimate goal of 2T2:2 MISSIONS is to train up the local faithful pastors who will be able to teach other faithful men who in turn will be able to teach others also.

We realize that there is an ease and convenience with giving online and we are thankful to make that available through the SecureGive online giving platform. You can create an account with SecureGive and set-up recurring giving as well as make one-time donations. The convenience does come with a cost. We want to make sure you are aware that a portion of your digital giving will go to processing fees (1.5% to 1.75% for debit and 2.0% to 2.5% for credit). If you would like 100% of your giving to go to 2T2:2 Missions, you can choose the option to offset the fees when submitting your online donation or you may prefer to give by check or cash.
