San Tan Bible Church was born out of the prayers and diligent seeking after God’s heart by several men and families, who after training and being equipped to teach and reach out to the Body of Christ and to the world, sought to establish a work in the San Tan Area of the East Valley.
In the Spring of 2007, these men and their families began to meet together for prayer to seek God’s heart for this new work. By the Fall of 2007, God brought together various leaders and team members who began to meet on Sunday afternoons for a time of prayer, fellowship, study of God’s word and the breaking of bread. As time continued through the rest of the year, the Sunday afternoon gatherings began to grow and San Tan Bible Church was born.
San Tan Bible church is committed to three main values that drive all of its existence and ministry: The Word of God, Worship of God and the Love of God. San Tan Bible Church teaches God’s word uncompromised – acknowledging that the Bible is the infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). As far as worship – the Father seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth (God is spirit – and we worship according to the full council of His Word). As far as the love of God – we recognize that while we were yet sinners, God loved us first. We know that our Lord has told us to love Him with all of our heart, mind and soul and to love our neighbor as our self.
It is the expressed hope by the leadership of San Tan Bible Church that San Tan Bible Church is a church that honors God from the plurality of elders to the prayers and ministry of the body He has assembled.
